An introduction is in order Empty An introduction is in order

    Post by Bowman1 2010-05-24, 14:15

Hello there. Some call me Tim... My mother calls me Timothy, but only when she's really pissed off at me.

I am a 40 year old computer geek who makes the world safe for Microsoft Outlook one enduser at a time. When I am not behind a keyboard, I can often be found behind one of my cameras taking pictures, procrastinating about going to the gym, or just chilling with the dog and the cats. I live in the Hamden neighborhood of Baltimore, and I spend too much $$ in the RPG section of eBay.

Aside from the whole eBay thing, I haven't been active in the RPG world in a while. I'd like to get back into it though, preferably with one of those old school, 'obsolete' games from back in the day. 1st edition AD&D, Top Secret, Gamma World, Twilight 2000, Aftermath... you name it. If it has rules that are old enough to have graduated from college, I'm probably interested. And yes, that last sentence made me feel very old.

    -Tim

Awesome! An old-school player like myself. Twilight 2000 is a game I haven't played in years. We have classic games at our MiniCons every once-and-a-while. For our April MiniCon, one of our members ran a Traveller game for us. For the June MiniCon at Collector's Corner I'm running a Swords & Wizardry game. This is a rehash of the old "white book" D&D ruleset. You should come check it out!
