Hello, everyone!
I'm Dave. Nice to meet you all, in as much as you can meet someone on an online forum.
I've very recently become interested in D&D. I've picked up most of the core mechanics from listening to the Critical Hit podcast and reading the PHB, and I feel confident that I'm ready to start playing. I'm looking for a group of people willing to bring in a newbie and showing him the ropes.
Transportation is a bit tough for me, as I rely on the bus system. A game near Towson would be best for me, but I can try to get anywhere within the city. Playing over Skype would also be a viable option for me. I've got a webcam so the other players can see my rolls, or, if everyone in the group plays World of Warcraft, we can just party up within that game and use the /roll system there.
Anyway, glad to meet y'all, and looking forward to chatting with other gamers. Thanks!
Edit: when I say 'the city', I mean Baltimore. Yes, Dave, this is the Heroe's Guild of Maryland, not the Heroe's Guild of right-near-you.
